throwing one’s proverbial hat in the ring

There’s a pressing need for me to get additional freelance work as a writer/editor, so I thought I’d start here. It’s my personal blog, after all.

Reading a metric tonne of material right now. Unlike in the second half of 2013, I plan on actually devoting some of my very finite free time to writing. One of those things that continues to fulfil me.

More on this in the near future. You’ve been warned.

  1. Great start. I want to talk when we can. Why is it when I’m on live w/ you, I forget to ask you about the possibility of being a tour guide there? Seems a natural to me, esp if you have health insurance elsewhere.

    1. The tour guide thing is always a possibility. I’ve talked to a few people who know the branch, and it’s not something one typically does for a short-term gig. I’ve considered over the years doing personalised tours either over here or for Germans in English-speaking countries. We’ll see.

  2. Your readers much miss your old tea & life blog too, wish you would demonstrate your skills there again too. We loved all the pics of your travels and and excursions with or without tea.

    1. It’s not too late Jackie. There are quite a few things going on behind the scenes, and you might be seeing more of my musings sooner than you think. Thanks for being so supportive over the years.
